ON Remembrance Sunday and Armistice Day, the Bradford district will pay its respects to those killed or injured in conflicts around the world.

The Bradford city centre services will be returning to the cenotaph this year.

On Remembrance Sunday, November 10, the civic parade will leave from City Hall at 10.25am and the Dean of Bradford, the Very Reverend Andy Bowerman will give the ‘The Gathering’ at 10.55am at the cenotaph.

'The Gathering' begins the Act of Remembrance with some short reflective sentences.

The service will start at 11am with a two-minute silence and will be led Revd Bowerman.

Wreaths will be placed at the foot of the cenotaph during the service.

People will then move from the cenotaph to gather in City Park for The Sunset Ceremony which will be performed to conclude the service.

Those who would like to take part in the parade are asked to assemble in Centenary Square at 10.15am. All are welcome to attend.
