BARONESS Sayeeda Warsi will be the keynote speaker at a Bradford event later this month.

Every November, Islamophobia Awareness Month (IAM) focuses on raising awareness and promoting understanding of the discrimination and challenges faced by Muslim communities.

This year, Baroness Warsi will serve as the keynote speaker at the Professional Muslim Institute (PMI) networking dinner on Thursday, November 28, at Aagrah Midpoint in Thornbury.

“Baroness Warsi will discuss her powerful new book, Muslims Don’t Matter,” said Dr Javed Bashir, founder of PMI.

“As Britain’s first Muslim cabinet minister, Baroness Warsi brings a bold and unique perspective on Islamophobia in modern Britain.

“Attendees will gain insights from one of the leading voices against Islamophobia."

Dr Bashir added: “IAM serves as a reminder of the importance of education, dialogue, and policy reform in creating societies where everyone feels valued and protected.
