SHOCKING viral footage has emerged which looks to show yobs riding down Bradford road firing rockets.
The video was shared by London & UK Street News on X on Saturday and purportedly shows carnage ensuing that same evening on Great Horton Road at the hands of several dark-clothed, masked individuals.
It begins focused on one person on a motorbike, who looks to have a lit firework in their hand, pointing it out towards the street.
The yob makes their way down the road, passing the likes of Mumtaz and Royal Sweets, as a barrage of rockets fly out from the main component in the person’s hand.
A large amount of traffic can be seen heading towards the individual holding the camera as the fireworks continue to explode just above the road, with members of the public also spotted on the footpaths.
At one point, the person filming flips the camera and another individual on a motorbike holding a rocket can be seen, before they ride past and in front of the first biker.
Another motorbike rider also looks to be filming the chaos, which continues when the group approaches the road’s junction with Horton Grange Road.
One of the bikers with the rockets rides past the crossroads as a white car turns into Horton Grange Road and then looks to aim the device towards the vehicle, with rockets exploding just inches away from it.
The gang continue to ride towards Bradford city centre as traffic gets heavier, with fireworks shooting into the sky, smoke filling the air, and a cacophony of noise from the explosions.
West Yorkshire Police is aware of the footage and is making “urgent enquiries”.
A spokesperson for the force said: “We have been made aware of a social media video showing reckless and dangerous use of fireworks on a bike reportedly taken in the Bradford area.
“Urgent enquiries are underway to establish the facts of where and when this occurred.
“If anyone has any information about this video or has further footage of the bike is asked to contact Operation Steerside at bd.steerside@westyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
“Footage of illegal riding can also be summitted online via our Op Snap portal at https://www.westyorkshire.police.uk/SaferRoadsSubmissions.”
