A SCHOOL has held its first stay-and-play session.
Bradford Grammar School hosted the event on October 10, welcoming prospective parents and their children to the newly-opened reception classroom.
The session aimed at introducing families to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and showcasing the school's offerings.
Opened in September, the new building provides modern, vibrant spaces for reception and year one pupils, designed to support creative, play-based learning.
The stay-and-play session, inspired by the story 'Elmer the Patchwork Elephant', allowed children to experience the facilities through interactive activities.
While children were engaged, parents had the opportunity to meet the headteacher, EYFS staff, and admissions team, gaining insight into the Bradford Grammar School approach to early education.
Headteacher, Richard Ribeiro, said: "We look forward to welcoming more families to experience our outstanding Early Years offer at Bradford Grammar School."
The success of the first stay-and-play event has led to the decision to host more sessions throughout the year.
The next one, themed 'We're Going on a Bear Hunt', is scheduled for November 21.
