Yorkshire Water's sister company, Loop, is recruiting for 40 new customer service roles.
The new jobs will be based in Bradford and are set to be filled by January 2025.
Loop serves as the initial contact point for Yorkshire Water customers, handling inquiries via phone, email, letter, and social media.
The recruitment aligns with Yorkshire Water's commitment to "support customers in challenging circumstances."
This includes the provision of five different financial support schemes to help customers who are struggling to pay bills.
Yorkshire Water's press office said that 120,000 customers had been supported with extra help on bill payments in the last 12 months, while the number of customers on the Priority Services Register had doubled, to "more than 200,000."
Loop also addresses issues including flooding, noisy manhole covers, and verifying the identity of individuals seeking property access.
Some Loop agents are multilingual.
