AN image has been released by police investigating an incident where a train station staff member was "slapped across the face".
The incident is reported to have happened at Leeds Rail Station on Sunday, September 29.
British Transport Police (BTP) has now issued an appeal.
A spokesperson for BTP said: "Officers investigating an assault at Leeds Railway Station have released an image in connection with the incident.
"Just after midnight on Sunday, September 29, a man approached a member of staff to ask for the details of the next train leaving.
"When the man was told there were no more trains the man slapped the member of staff across the face before leaving the station.
"Officers believe the man in the image may have information which could help with their investigation.
"Anyone with information is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference number 2400122033.
"Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
