Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has given a health update on her ex-husband Clive, after he received major surgery.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, the Our Yorkshire Farm star revealed that Clive was on the road to recovery after having a hip replacement.
During a behind-the-scenes clip of the family's new More4 show, Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive And Kids, she explained: "There's a lot going on here. It's been a nightmare here. I've got children going to school, I've got children studying and children working and then he comes to me and says he's bored."
Speaking about Clive's recent hospital admission (as reported by The Mirror), Amanda shared: "He has had a hip replacement and he's a terrible patient. Everybody's just getting on and stuff's getting done but just not how he would like it. But most of the time we don't care."
In the new five-part Channel 4 series, the family work with a team of local tradespeople for help on the renovation of a derelict farmhouse in the Yorkshire Dales, while they run the family sheep farm, battling one of the wettest years on record.
Recently appearing on BBC Breakfast, alongside her children Clemmy, Nancy and Annas, Amanda spoke about the journey so far.
The 50-year-old said: “We’re getting there (with the renovation). We like a challenge, don’t we?
“Yeah, it’s been very difficult, what with Yorkshire’s weather coming at us. Things have gone far slower than we’d have ever wished for.

“Because it’s a listed building, because it’s got a lot of history – we’ve got the diaries from the chap who used to live and farm there – it’s really important to us that we keep that heritage and that legacy that he left behind, and keep it true to what it really is, those roots.
“That is quite an undertaking, but it’s been fascinating learning about who lived there.”
Amanda, who rose to fame on the Channel 5 programme [Our Yorkshire Farm] which launched in 2018, announced in 2022 that she was splitting from her husband Clive but would continue to work with him on the farm and co-parent their children.
