An employee at an opticians has become a 'regular Street Angel' for Bradford, after his branch teamed up with the charity.
Paul Garnett, of Specsavers Girlington, was one of three members of staff to have volunteered with Bradford Street Angels on a temporary basis earlier this year.
Mr Garnett is now a permanent member of the team, and will be supporting with night-time patrols, which take place every Friday between 8pm and 2am.
According to the charity, tasks can vary ‘from the serious to the mundane,' with the Angels doing everything from clearing up abandoned glasses and bottles to reuniting friends and contacting emergency services.
Warm clothing is also handed out by the Angels to the homeless in Bradford.
Specsavers Girlington is taking donations of any winter clothing that can be handed out on Friday nights to those in need by Mr Garnett and his fellow Angels.
Donations can be made at Specsavers Girlington in Victoria Shopping Centre, on Thornton Road.
Mr Garnett said: "The work Street Angels do is incredibly rewarding and fulfilling - so much so that I signed up to be a fixed member of the team after just one session."
