A BURGLARY occurred at a Bradford property earlier this week.
The incident happened at an address on Wibsey Park Avenue on Wednesday.
It is said the suspect entered through the back door, causing damage to the lock, between 10am and 7.30pm.
It was also reported that the suspect made an untidy search of the property and stole items of property.
Nobody was seen, according to the West Yorkshire Police Community alert.
It added: "If you have CCTV or a doorbell camera, please check it between the times above to see if you have any footage showing suspicious activity
"If you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly), please check the lock.
Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly.
The locks we recommend have three stars written on the front and are TS007 or SS312 rated.
"Many firms offer these anti-snap locks.
"Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the police.
"Should you have any information about either burglary, please contact us on 101."
