FILMING for what is understood to be the new Peaky Blinders movie is set to get underway in Bradford city centre.

A production team has descended on the Little Germany area - causing intrigue among locals.

The Telegraph & Argus visited the scene this morning and saw what looked like wartime vehicles and old-fashioned cars, as well as stacks of sandbags and posters from the 1940s.

While it does not mention Peaky Blinders, the letter states filming will take place from Wednesday to Friday, between 6pm and 4am.

It adds: "To facilitate our shoot safely we will be implementing a temporary road closure in the area during the week beginning Monday, October 28, and ending Sunday, November 3.

In 2022, Cillian Murphy - who plays Tommy Shelby in Peaky Blinders - said: "I think Steve has always had an endgame in mind. Covid screwed that up a bit. But now he's got lots of plans to make a film.

"So I don't think this is the end of the story. I think it's probably just the end of the story in this form.

"But Steve is always bringing up ideas - and they're always good. So I'll just wait and see what he has to say."
