A PRIVATE hire driver is likely to face court action after driving their vehicle with a shattered windscreen.
West Yorkshire Police’s Steerside team stopped a Toyota private hire vehicle on Bingley Road in Saltaire earlier this morning (Wednesday).
Officers posted images of the car’s shattered windscreen on X, formally known as Twitter, showing how poor the visibility was for the driver.
Police say the vehicle’s driver has been reported to court for using vehicle in a dangerous condition, and “the licence permits returned to Bradford Council for further intervention as deemed appropriate".
