The Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Bev Mullaney, has received Bradford's first Remembrance poppy for the year from Royal British Legion.
The reception marks the 2024 launch of the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal in the Bradford District.
The sale of paper poppies raises funds to support the Armed Forces community, with poppies also intended to commemorate the sacrifice and service of the Armed Forces, veterans, and their families.
Councillor Mullaney said: "We are proud to again support this very important annual appeal."
Barbara Allsopp, joint Poppy Appeal organiser in Bradford, and Gillian Carr, the Poppy Appeal manager for Bradford, Calderdale, and Kirklees, made the presentation to the Lord Mayor in Bradford's City Hall.
