A TALK given by the Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team is to be held next week.
Meet at the Bradford Mechanics Institute Library, 76 Kirkgate, Bradford, BD1 1SZ at 6.45pm on Wednesday November 6.
Everyone is welcome at the a free talk, where a voluntary collection will be held to help fund the rescue team.
"The rescue team help us so we try to help them," says Ray Wilkes publicity officer for Bradford CHA Rambling and Social Club.
"Walking is a very safe activity which is very good for mental and physical health; however, mishaps can happen to anyone and we sometimes need their help."
Every year the CHA club makes donations to the Calder Valley Search and Rescue Team, the Upper Wharfedale Fell Rescue Association, the Cave Rescue Organisation, based in the Yorkshire Dales and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The club runs an extensive range of public transport and coach rambles at weekends and welcomes new members. For details see bradfordwalking.org
