TWO city centre roads will shut for three days as filming of a mystery production take place.

A yellow road sign has appeared at the junction of Leeds Road and Chapel Street, in Little Germany, which says it will be shut from tomorrow until Friday evening.

Back Chapel Street will also be closed.

The Telegraph & Argus visited the area this afternoon and spotted crews getting prepared for filming.

What looked to be wartime vehicles were situated within the area, and a large pile of rubble surrounded by a metal gate was spotted when looking down Vicar Lane from Church Bank.

But it stopped short of revealing exactly what the filming was for.

The post said: “Hey, theatre lovers! Little Germany is starring in yet another excellent production - though we can't tell you which one until it's released!”
