The Race Equality Network (REN) has shared an update on its development of an Anti-Racist Strategy for Bradford.
A consultation took place on October 15, with stakeholders including Bradford Council, Bradford College, Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and the University of Bradford.
Another consultation was held with member organisations and community organisations on October 22.
Perspectives from such meetings are to be incorporated in the Anti-Racist Strategy.
Fatima Mahmood, REN's projects and communications officer, said: "We look forward to sharing this strategy next year."
The new strategy is part of the second phase of the Root Out Racism movement.
That movement was launched following a 2020 review by the West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership into the impact of COVID-19 on health inequalities for ethnic minority / global majority communities.
REN's Anti-Racist Strategy is intended to support the 500 organisations that made a pledge in 2021 to 'Root Out Racism.'
