Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Traffic Officers received four reports of the green supercar "speeding" in the Bury area yesterday.
The vehicle was stopped and the driver was unable to prove valid insurance, according to a spokesperson for GMP.
They added: "When stopped, driver couldn't prove valid insurance, but asked to be let off as its his wedding day.
"@gmptraffic had no confetti on hand, so we improvised and threw 6 points at the would be groom instead."
The Lamborghini was seized by the officers.
