FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a person from a car after a crash at the top of a huge hill in Bradford.

Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) confirmed it received an emergency call at 9.38am today reporting a single-vehicle collision on Wrose Road, in Shipley.

A bystander said the top of Carr Lane was blocked off, at its junction with Wrose Road, by the crash.
