A 14-YEAR-OLD boy has suffered serious injuries, including a broken arm, after a hit and run.

West Yorkshire Police has launched an appeal for witnesses after a crash in Raw Lane, Illingworth, Halifax on Friday evening, at 7.15pm.

The teenager was crossing the road when a vehicle turned left onto Raw Lane from Keighley Road.

The vehicle collided with the boy, causing injuries including a broken arm, and failed to stop at the scene.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "It is thought the vehicle involved was possibly a black Range Rover."

Officers from the Roads Policing Unit would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the crash, or who may have video footage of the vehicle.
