A spokesperson for First said: "Simply show the driver your Armed Forces ID, Veteran’s Badge, or wear your medals or uniform."
They added: "We hope that the free travel helps them attend commemorative events to remember the service and sacrifice of their comrades."
Drivers of the buses may pull over to observe the two-minute silence at 11am on both Remembrance days and First has asked kindly asked for "patience if you're on board during this time".
The spokesperson for First said: "Our buses will proudly display their poppies, contributing to the Royal British Legion's Poppy Appeal."
