FIREFIGHTERS and rescue crews freed a dog that was stuck in a pipe.
The incident, which took place this morning (Friday) on Craiglands Road in Ilkley, saw the fire service called to rescue the dog which was stuck in a pipe.
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 9:02am, to Craiglands Road in Ilkley, on Friday, October 25, to a report of a large animal rescue.
“The animal was released and left in the hands of its owner.
“It was a dog and it was stuck in a pipe.
“It is now safe and in the care of its owner.”
“We sent one fire appliance from Cleckheaton and a Technical Rescue Team.”
