THESE images show what is left of a bus stop after a late-night crash.
Police were called to the scene on Bradford Road, Thornbury, just after 10pm on Thursday.
Police reported that a car collided with the bus stop, near Thornbury Barracks, and one resident said that the bus stop had been "wiped out".
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "This was a damage-only collision – reported at 10.10pm.
"A car collided with a bus stop."
One resident told the T&A: "I passed a major crash which wiped out the bus stop at Thornbury Barracks.
"Police and emergency vehicles were in situ.
"It happened from Bradford Thornbury roundabout towards Leeds, and it was around 11pm when we passed."
The Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) was also called, but an ambulance was not required.
A YAS spokesperson said: "We received an emergency call at 10.08pm on Thursday evening to report a collision between a vehicle and bus stop on Bradford Road, Thornbury.
"There were no injuries reported and an ambulance was not required."
West Yorkshire Combined Authority said its contractor will remove the remains of the shelter "as soon as possible".
According to the authority, a temporary stop will be placed on site.
A site survey will then follow before a new shelter will be manufactured and installed by the authority's suppliers.
