POLICE investigating the stabbing attack on a Bradford man have arrested five more men on suspicion of murder.

Police launched an extensive investigation after Luqman Ishfaq died after being stabbed at around 10.30pm on Monday night.

Two males, aged 26 and 28, had already been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police have now made further five further arrests.

A statement released by West Yorkshire Police this morning said: "Police investigating the death of Luqman Ishfaq on Barlow Street in Bradford on Monday night have made further arrests.  .

"Five further males have been arrested (on suspicion of murder) in connection with the investigation and taken into custody earlier this morning. Their ages are 22, 24, 24, 28 and 44.  

"One of those males, aged 28, has also been arrested in connection with violent disorder and a sixth male has also been arrested in connection with violent disorder.  

"A number of scenes are in place including on Kimberley Street while a forensic examination is carried out.  

"Two men were arrested on suspicion of murder on Wednesday. One of those men, aged 28, has been bailed pending further enquiries while another, aged 26, remains in custody.
