THERE are delays for motorists on the M62 this morning due to two incidents.
The westbound exit slip road at Chain Bar is partially blocked due to an obstruction.
There is also a "defect" in the road on the eastbound carriageway of the M62 at Junction 25 (Brighouse).
One traffic alert reported: "The M62 eastbound exit slip road is partially blocked, with queueing traffic due to obstruction on the road at Junction 26 M606 Junction 1 (Chain Bar). Congestion to J28 (Tingley).
"Travel time is around 25 minutes. Ongoing since around 6.30am."

"Congestion to J23 (Huddersfield). Travel time is around 20 minutes. Lane three (of three) is closed."
Three lanes were initially closed, but lanes one and two have since opened.

People have been urged to allow extra time for travel.
