A SALON has thanked its local village for coming together after it scooped a Telegraph & Argus award.
LUXE Hair & Beauty, on Bingley Road in Saltaire, has been named the winner of the T&A's Best Beauty Salon 2024 competition.
Co-owners Gabriella Nash and Rosie Caink were overjoyed when the T&A broke the happy news.
Rosie said it was brilliant and added: "Thank you so much, that is amazing."
"It's a sense of shock and love," she added.
"It is insane that we have managed to win it.
"There are so many amazing salons in Bradford.
"We are only young so we are buzzing our little business and dream has managed to go so far. Awards like these are lovely."
Since opening in April 2022, the salon has gone from strength to strength.
Only six months after opening, LUXE was nominated for Hair & Beauty Salon of the Year in the T&A’s Retail, Leisure & Hospitality Awards.
Rosie is the beauty therapist - offering BIAB nail treatments as well as brows, lash lifts, and waxing.
Gabriella is the hair stylist who "loves giving her clients new confidence through their hair".
Rosie was keen to thank all those who had voted for the salon.
"Our customers have really got behind us," she said.
"People from the local area in Saltaire village have popped in to say they don't usually come in but had seen us in the T&A and voted.
"So many people who we did not even think would have voted, have. People that we don't even know or have not met.
"A lot of our clients have gone to absolute town on it every day - either posting it or dropping them in."
The sky is the limit for the pair, who are already looking at ways they can expand the salon.
Rosie said: "We are hoping to keep growing.
"Hopefully we can take on staff and train people up, that would be brilliant.
"Gabs has talked about doing a mini brand almost for hair products. I have got a couple of little treatments that I am working on.
"We are absolutely rushed off our feet, we can never get to the phone. We would love to have a receptionist."
