A RAPIST has been jailed for 24 years after committing four offences in West Yorkshire.
Anthony Pilling, 43, of Lymm, in Warrington, was sentenced at Leeds Crown Court on Monday after pleading guilty to four counts of rape.
The offences happened in West Yorkshire in a three-year period, with three happening in the same year.
Pilling admitted to committing the offences at an earlier hearing at the same court.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "This substantial 24-year sentence reflects both the seriousness of the offences he committed and the devastating and long-lasting impact those offences had on his victims.
“I hope they can take some comfort from the sentence imposed on Pilling and knowing this dangerous, predatory, man will be off our streets for many years to come.”
