A BABY born after a pregnant woman fell from a block of flats is receiving critical care in hospital.
West Yorkshire Police said it was contacted by the ambulance service at around 10.30am on Tuesday.
Paramedics had been called to an incident where a woman had fallen from height in Shakespeare Towers, in Shakespeare Approach, Burmantofts, Leeds.
The woman died at the scene as a result of her injuries, police said.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesperson said: "There were no suspicious circumstances and the coroners' office has been informed.
"The woman, aged in her thirties, was in the late stage of pregnancy and her baby was delivered at hospital after the incident and is receiving critical care."
