A MAN remains in intensive care after he was seriously injured in a two-car crash last week.
Police have issued an appeal after the crash on Leeds Road, Otley, last Friday night.
Emergency services were called to the scene, roughly halfway between Old Pool Bank and Otley Bypass, at around 8.30pm.
"The collision involved a grey Vauxhall Zafira, which was travelling towards Otley, and a blue BMW 430, which was travelling in the opposite direction," said West Yorkshire Police.
"The driver of the Zafira, a 42-year-old man from Rotherham, had to be removed from the vehicle by the fire service. He received serious injuries and remains in intensive care in hospital.
"The driver of the BMW, a 34-year-old woman from Leeds, was treated at hospital and released the same day.
