A SHIPLEY man has been jailed following a burglary at a Bradford community centre.
Appearing in Leeds Magistrates' Court last Saturday, Ryan Holroyd, 46, of Crag Road, Shipley, pleaded guilty to a burglary at Windhill Community Centre.
He has now been sentenced to 26 weeks in prison and fined £154.
Sergeant Teri Green, of the Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team, said that a suspended prison sentence had been activated.
Another man, Darren Wright, 41, also of Crag Road, was charged with the same offence and pleaded guilty.
Sgt Green said that Wright has been released on bail with an electronically tagged curfew from 7pm to 7am.
He will be sentenced on November 27.
A pre-sentence report for Wright will also be prepared and presented to the court.
