ONE person has been rushed to hospital after suffering serious injuries in a crash that has closed a road.
Motorists are being urged to avoid the area following the crash on Rawdon Road, Horsforth.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Emergency services are currently at the scene of a serious road traffic collision on Rawdon Road, Horsforth.
"One person has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
"The road remains closed. Please avoid the area."
One traffic alert reported: "A65 Leeds Road both ways closed, heavy traffic due to accident from A6120 Broadway (Horsforth roundabout, Horsforth) to Layton Lane (Rawdon)."
