A LANE remains closed at Chain Bar as disruption continues following yesterday's flooding on the roundabout.
The burst water main was first reported just after 2.30pm on Wednesday afternoon.
In a statement issued at around 4pm, Yorkshire Water said teams were on site to continue the clean-up work and they were working closely with Highways.
A spokesperson said the inside lane would be reopened as soon as remaining surface water was cleared and it was safe to do so.
The Telegraph & Argus live traffic page reports this morning: "One lane closed and heavy traffic due to emergency repairs on A58 Whitehall Road around M62 J26 (Chain Bar).
"On the roundabout."
