POLICE have recovered a stolen Land Rover Discovery and informed its rightful owner.
Officers from Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team found the vehicle in the Windhill area in the early hours of this morning.
A spokesperson from West Yorkshire Police said the vehicle had been stolen in a Hanoi burglary from the Wilsden area at the start of the week.
Hanoi burglaries are a type of crime where burglars break into a house to steal car keys and then drive away with the vehicle.
The force spokesperson said: "In the early hours of this morning, officers from Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team located the above vehicle within the Windhill ward.
"The car had been stolen in a Hanoi burglary from the Wilsden area at the beginning of the week.
"The owner has been informed.
"Enquiries are ongoing into identifying the suspect or suspects."
