Yorkshire Air Ambulance (YAA) is thanking its supporters with 700 handwritten postcards.

The charity's 'Ta Very Much' day sees YAA staff, including paramedics, doctors, and pilots, pause their duties to personally thank randomly selected donors across Yorkshire.

Joining the team this year was YAA’s patron, former ITV Calendar weather forecaster Jon Mitchell, who wrote notes to supporters.

Peter Sunderland, former chairman of YAA, also spent the day calling donors.
