GRASS has started to be laid as part of ongoing public realm work in Bradford city centre.
Work to pedestrianise swathes of the centre began in spring.
It is all part of the £43 million Government-funded Transforming Cities Fund, which was first announced in 2020.
New grassed areas are coming along, as can be seen in these photographs.
As previously reported by the T&A, views are mixed on the work in the heart of Bradford.
Many have voiced concerns about the cost of the scheme and the level of disruption, with some lambasting "poor planning" and "total chaos".
Others have defended the work, urging critics to reserve judgement until the project is finished and saying "it's going to look great".
Plenty of people feel the project will improve the look of the city centre, but fear such improvements could be overshadowed by other problems, including crime, anti-social behaviour and vacant shop units.
