Last night (October 14), Our Yorkshire Farm fans saw Amanda Owen and her ex-husband Clive reunite two years after they announced their divorce, in their new Channel 4 show.

The pair who share nine children together have decided to undertake a “huge” project in the Yorkshire Dales on Our Farm Next Door: Amanda, Clive and Kids.

The family will be renovating a derelict farmhouse in Swaledale.

But in the first episode on Monday, which marked the first time Amanda and Clive have appeared on TV together since their Channel 5 show ended, the Yorkshire Shepherdess opened up about reuniting with her ex-husband.

She explained: "Me and Clive, although we're still husband and wife, we are separate. This last year has been incredibly hard in so many respects. But we've got through it."

Clive added: "Me and Mandy, we've had a strange few years. But we're now at a place where, although we're not actually together, we're still in business together, we still have kids together, which is a crazy situation but it's the most sensible thing for everybody to do."

Amanda revealed the breakdown of their marriage was due to "pressures and stresses".

She continued: "But now we're kind of pulling back together again, because we need to, because we've got a house to do up."

She said: "You know, you don't always get the happy ending that you want and things go wrong but that's life, isn't it?"

Amanda went on to say: "We've got a lot of room and we've got a lot of distractions, there's just so much going on.

"I mean first and foremost, we're farming trying to keep everything going and in a way, it's another diversification, we have fingers in so many different pies that it's just unbelievable."
