A Polar Express experience, inspired by the festive 2004 film, is set to return to Embsay & Bolton Abbey Steam Railway this Christmas.
The tale of the magical train, originally in the form of a children's book by American author Chris Van Allsburg, will be brought to life by the Railway for family members of all ages.
Families are invited to wear their pyjamas for the experience, and as the train sets off, memorable moments from the film will spring to life around them - including singing and dancing chefs serving up hot chocolate and cookies.
Upon the arrival of Santa and his elf, each guest will receive their very own silver sleigh bell, the 'first gift of Christmas'.
A reading of Mr Allsburg's tale will also feature.
Chris Brookes, artistic director, said: "We are thrilled to return to Bolton Abbey with the fantastic team at the Steam Railway.
"Building on last year’s success, we are committed to making this year’s train ride even more magical.
"Our talented performers from across the UK will bring The Polar Express to life, and we are always in awe of their creativity and energy.
"Our immersive train ride experiences are designed to bring families joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories, so we encourage guests to don their pyjamas and fully embrace the magic of this beloved story."
The Polar Express will run from November 15 to December 24, departing from Bolton Abbey Station.
A more relaxed sensory performance is available for those with special educational needs.
