EMERGENCY services have scrambled to the scene of a crash in the Bradford district this afternoon.
Fire engines and police officers are currently attending a collision in the Fox Corner area of Shipley, with the location for the incident given as Upper Ashley Lane.
The two-vehicle incident occurred just before 1.30pm on Monday afternoon, a West Yorkshire Police spokesperson confirmed.
The incident is causing major disruption for traffic approaching Shipley from a variety of directions.
The Telegraph & Argus Live Traffic & Travel page says: "A6038 Otley Road both ways partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at A657 Briggate (Foxes Corner)."
A spokesperson for the West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service said: "We were called at 1.27pm this afternoon to reports of a road traffic collision on Commercial Street in Shipley.
"Two crews (Shipley and Bradford) are at the scene alongside other emergency service colleagues.
"However it’s understood all the casualties self-extricated, so we are just there to assist our partners."
