SHOTS have been fired at a Bradford home in broad daylight.

Police said they received reports of shots being fired from a vehicle towards a house on Smith Avenue in Wibsey shortly after noon on Saturday.

Armed officers attended the scene and the damage was found to be "consistent with a firearms discharge."

No injuries have been reported.

There is no word on any arrests at this time.

The Telegraph & Argus contacted West Yorkshire Police on Sunday and asked if there were any updates in relation to this incident - but a force spokesperson did not provide any information. 

When the T&A visited the scene at around 4pm on Saturday, a police cordon was still up as officers continued to carry out enquiries.

The T&A has heard from residents who have expressed their shock at the incident.

One man, who asked not to be named, said: "It is concerning.

"I'm pleased no injuries have been reported and hopefully whoever did this will be caught by police as soon as possible."
