Carers in Bradford were celebrated at a tea party for national Kinship Care Week.
The event on Tuesday, October 8, was organised by the care charity, Kinship, at the Midland Hotel.
Kinship carers are family members or friends who care for children whose parents are unable to do so.
They play a vital role in the lives of 141,000 children across England and Wales.
Members of the local kinship carer peer support group and other kinship carers attended the event to share advice and build community.
Jimmy, a grandparent kinship carer from Bradford, said: "Kinship Care Week is an amazing time to celebrate all the friends and family who step up to raise a child who needs a loving home.
"The best thing was the company, and someone else looking after us.
