NEW Order legend Peter Hook is heading to Bradford.
“It still amazes me how enjoyable it is to play the Substance LPs. The contrast between Joy Division and New Order is very apparent, but both complement each other very well,” says Peter. “My only frustration is not being able to play more of our records each night.”
Since revisiting seminal Joy Division album Unknown Pleasures back in 2010 for a charity concert, Peter has performed subsequent albums from the repertoire of his bands, Joy Division and New Order, introducing them to new audiences worldwide.
The shows have highlighted Hooky as a compelling frontman, as well as the legendary bassist whose sound defined both bands.
On Friday, November 1 Peter Hook and The Light will be at St George’s Hall playing the Substance albums by Joy Division and New Order in full.
