The University of Bradford has joined a new national hub aimed at tackling diversity challenges in the UK's engineering, physical, and mathematical sciences sectors.

The Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Hub+ will serve as a central point for EDI practices across the UK.

It will identify diversity challenges specific to these sectors and propose interventions to be implemented within the community.

The University of Bradford is one of eight universities involved in the project.

Professor Udy Archibong, pro-vice-chancellor for EDI at the University of Bradford, said: "I am delighted we are involved in this exciting national project which aligns with the University of Bradford’s vision of a world of inclusion and equality of opportunity."

The EDI Hub+ is part of EPSRC’s three-year EDI action plan, which centres on career pathways, research funding and processes, and organisational culture.
