THERE is havoc on West Yorkshire's railways this evening as a reported unexploded wartime bomb has been found - with services calling at Bradford Interchange among those affected by the disruption.

The reported discovery has been made near the line in the Cross Gates area, east of Leeds.

Emergency services are at the scene, according to Northern Rail.

National Rail said it means all lines between Leeds and Micklefield are closed which is causing issues for multiple services.

Some services running through Bradford Interchange have been affected.

A Halifax to Hull service, which called at Bradford Interchange at 5.30pm, was partially cancelled at Leeds. Other services are being held at locations including Leeds and York.
