THE public are being urged to ring 999 if they spot a teenage boy who is missing from Bradford.

West Yorkshire Police has launched an appeal to find 15-year-old Zakir Muhammad Mughal.

He was reported missing last night but further information has been received since that suggests the last confirmed sighting of him was in the Chellow Dean area at around midnight.

Zakir is described as an Asian male, who is around 5ft tall, of skinny build, with dark brown hair.

Officers have urged Zakir to contact his family or police himself to "confirm that he is safe and well", as well as asking the public for help with their search.

If anyone has seen Zakir, or has any other information that could assist police enquiries to find him, you should contact them on 101, or using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.

Any current sightings should be reported via 999.

"Police are appealing for the public’s help in reporting any sightings of a 15-year-old boy who has been reported missing from home in Bradford.

"Zakir Muhammad Mughal was reported missing last night, and further information has been received since which suggests that the last confirmed sighting of him was in the Chellow Dean area at around midnight.
