A TEENAGER was rushed to hospital with head injuries after a fight near takeaways and a college.
West Yorkshire Police was called by the ambulance service to reports of a fight on Great Horton Road at 12.47pm today.
The fight is believed to have happened near several takeaway outlets on the road, and Bradford College.
Officers discovered a 17-year-old with injuries to his head when they arrived at the scene.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "He was taken to hospital by a family member and his injuries are described as non-life threatening."
Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) received a call to reports of an assault, two minutes before police.
A spokesperson for YAS said: "Two ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but were subsequently not required and stood down."
A police cordon was put in place while officers investigated but this had been removede by 3.39pm.
