A LEGAL firm which has "deep connections" in Bradford has revealed plans for further growth in the city.

Switalskis' office at Scorex House, Bolton Road, employs 25 workers in its commercial property, conveyancing and care legal teams, as well as business support staff.

The commercial property team in Bradford is led by Claire Murphy, director and solicitor.

She said: "We decided to establish our commercial property presence in Bradford in 2023.

"This was driven by the city's need for additional, dedicated, local expertise in this area of law.

"We've just welcomed two new solicitors to our commercial property team.

"Looking ahead, we anticipate further growth in Bradford and have plans to further expand the team in the coming months.

"We pride ourselves in delivering expert legal advice with a personal touch, always focused on the individual needs of our clients."

Claire said the company was an important part of the local community.

She added: "Switalskis has deep connections in Bradford and across Yorkshire.

"We work alongside local charities and business development groups and have recently been involved in a number of community projects and events.

"Recently, our team donated 49.5kg of food to the Trussell Trust, supporting local families in need.

"We also actively participate in local charitable initiatives, like fundraising for the One in a Million charity through bake sales and event sponsorships.

"As a member of Bradford Chamber of Commerce and Bradford Interact, we work alongside other local businesses to strengthen connections across the city.

"Our solicitors regularly act for local developers, landlords, tenants and individuals, contributing to Bradford's economic growth."

Switalskis was named in this year's Sunday Times Best Places to Work list and the commercial property team has been recognised as a 'firm to watch' in the national Legal 500 guide.

Claire said: "These accolades reflect the positive culture we nurture at Switalskis.

"We actively support career development at every level, ensuring clear pathways for our people to develop their skills and advance within the firm.

"Well-being is also a top priority and is supported through external partnerships and internal initiatives.

"We offer flexibility in both working hours and location to help our staff maintain a healthy work-life balance.

"We also take pride in embracing diversity and inclusion.

"For example, we provide support for colleagues participating in religious practices, such as fasting during Ramadan.

"Transparency and respect are also central to our approach, and we ensure every team member is supported and valued."
