A BATON and cannabis were found in a vehicle that made "evasive manoeuvres" when seeing police.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) were out on proactive patrols in the Windhill and Wrose area of Bradford on Friday evening.
A spokesperson for the NPT said a vehicle spotted officers in a marked police vehicle and made "evasive manoeuvres" before it was stopped by the team.
The driver, a man, was searched, as well as the vehicle.
Officers discovered a weapon inside - a baton - and a quantity of cannabis.
The man was arrested and has been charged with possession of class B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon.
