POLICE caught a suspected disqualified driver after a chase.
West Yorkshire Police's Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) posted about the pursuit on its Facebook page yesterday.
Officers from the NPT spotted a red Ford Fiesta being driven in the east ward of Keighley and had received information that the driver behind the wheel was disqualified and had no insurance, according to a spokesperson for the force.
The vehicle failed to stop for the officers and a chase began.
This ended shortly afterwards and the officers went after the driver on foot.
They managed to arrest him and he has been summoned to court for several driving offences.
The vehicle was also seized.
