FOOTBALL fans have been warned about "enhanced" searching at a huge game tonight, with three items banned for the travelling supporters attending the fixture.

Leeds United head northeast to the Stadium of Light for an important clash against Sunderland tonight.

Both sides are in relatively decent form, with Sunderland currently sitting top of the Sky Bet Championship, while Leeds are just three points behind in fifth.

The club has passed on important information from Sunderland about the game, which has been declared an "enhanced search" fixture.

These are: coins, vapes, and power banks.

The post said: "Sunderland AFC have confirmed that the items above are restricted to avoid anything being thrown into the home section below."
