THE cause of a huge apartment block fire in Bradford is yet to be determined as investigations continue.
Crews from across West Yorkshire were called to the unoccupied eight-storey building on Bolton Road at 8.30pm on Wednesday night.
Flames were seen licking out of the roof of the John Green building.
The West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service (WYFRS) advised people to avoid the area if possible with Bolton Road, between Stott Hill and Lower Kirkgate, closed both ways for much of Thursday.
The fire service only left the scene at 5pm yesterday.
Images have since emerged of the extent of damage caused following the blaze.
The birds eye shots show most of the roof has burned away.
It was confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus this morning that WYFRS' Fire Investigation team is going back to the building today.
The team will continue their investigations to try determine a cause.
