FOUR-legged 'congregation' members had a lead role in an open-air service.
A pet blessing formed part of a celebration, staged by Churches Together in Haworth, at the village's Central Park.
A harvest festival service – Praise in the Park – was led by the Rev David Skeet, minister at West Lane Baptist Church, and rector of Haworth the Rev Oli Preston.
The gathering of pets, all dogs, then received a blessing.
Music was provided by brass band musicians and the Rev Preston, who played some modern hymns and folk songs on the guitar.
He said: "Pets are an integral part of many families' lives, and it was great to recognise their contribution to the lives of people in Haworth."
A Bolton-based photographer, Phil Taylor, was on hand to record the event.
