POLICE have confirmed that a motorbike rider has died following a crash.
Emergency services were called to a "serious injury collision" on Thornton Road, in Bradford at about 9.30pm on Friday, September 20.
It involved an orange KTM 125 Duke motorcycle and a red Toyota Avensis, near the road's junction with Leaventhorpe Lane.
The motorbike rider, a 26-year-old man, was rushed to hospital and as of last Thursday he was fighting for his life.
But a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police confirmed to the Telegraph & Argus this morning that the man has since died.
The T&A also asked if any arrests had been made, but police said there was nothing further to add at this stage.
Police launched an appeal for witnesses last Saturday (September 21) in relation to the crash.
Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who saw the movements of either vehicle immediately prior to it, should contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or using the contact options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
You should quote log number 1941 of September 20.
Anyone with footage that may assist in this investigation is also asked to get in touch.
